           The World Is Yours, Always [known as TWIYA] is a hip-hop songbird, writer, music producer, visual artist, filmmaker, social entrepreneur and storyteller. Growing up between Seattle and Baltimore, she began her journey as a solo music artist in 2017, with breakout single "Afronauts" (ft local rapper BlkSknn) becoming a crowd favorite. Her soulful vibes have graced the air waves of local station KEXP-FM Seattle and rocked crowds at local Seattle hot spots like Club Sur, The Vera Project, and later, the east coast at The Brooklyn Bazaar during the No Idol Music 2019 mini-tour. Coupled with her chill demeanor and velvety vocal arrangements, this artist has a way of commanding the energy around her, and the world is truly hers (and yours) during every show. With musical influences like Amerie, India.Arie, and Erykah Badu, her music has been described as soulful and lyrical, and sometimes futuristic. The singer-songwriter debuted her first studio project XChange in August 2018, building a steadily growing fan base that she lovingly calls, "The Afronauts". TWIYA released her self-produced mixtape, "SPACEJAMZ VOL. 1" on May 24, 2019 which features fully self-produced tracks and contributions from fellow No Idol Music artists StP@ and Devh. Her songs "REIGN" and "Float" are featured in the documentary, Anatomy of Wings, premiering at the BLACK FEMME SUPREMACY FESTIVAL ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2020.
